Our Unexpected Blessing…

You may find this strange, but I’m glad I’m experiencing some cramps today.  So far this miscarriage really has been quite like a “normal” period as far as pain and flow.  Don’t get me wrong, I’m glad it’s not terrible and painful.  But at the same time, it almost makes me feel like “nothing” ever really happened and that, for some reason, makes me sad.  Some sign that this is a bit worse than a “normal,” but late, period makes me feel like there really was a pregnancy.  This is not just a late period, as if nothing ever happened, but a loss.  For some reason, I needed that.
