My step daughter is going through the same thing. She was told in October that her son was missing 2/3 of his brain tissue, a one in a million chance of it happening. . . and that he might live 2 weeks. Victor was born Tuesday night at 9pm and she is taking him home today for his short time with the family. In all honesty, I don't know why I am telling you this, aside from the whole sympathy aspect and to let you (and your SIL) know that you aren't alone. I won't go into detail here, as some of the situation is pretty horrific. . . but if you ever need to talk, drop me a line.
