					<description>Sorry to intrude, but came here from the mothering.com boards in regards to your SIL's situation.  

My step daughter is going through the same thing.  She was told in October that her son was missing 2/3 of his brain tissue, a one in a million chance of it happening. . . and that he might live 2 weeks. 

Victor was born Tuesday night at 9pm and she is taking him home today for his short time with the family.  In all honesty, I don't know why I am telling you this, aside from the whole sympathy aspect and to let you (and your SIL) know that you aren't alone.  

I won't go into detail here, as some of the situation is pretty horrific. . . but if you ever need to talk, drop me a line.</description>
