Thankfully as time goes by and now that the New Year has started, my pressing urge to conceive again *right now* is diminishing. I still do want to try again, but it’s not such an all consuming thought like it was right after my miscarriage. In fact, I now for sure that we will wait this cycle out and it doesn’t even bother me. Today is cycle day 11 (CD 11) and this cycle seems to be going by so quickly! It’s funny how the 1st two weeks fly by, then, especially if you’re trying the two weeks after ovulation, also known as the two week wait (2ww), seems to drag on forever. I’m sure this one will feel quick since I’m not actually trying this cycle. Next month may be an entirely different story I’m sure.
Compared to last month, my chart looks crazy. My temps are all over the place it seems. Of course, I’m no expert, but last month seemed to be so much more “level” - could be because I actually got a new BBT thermometer for this month. I’m hoping to get a good read on what my “normal” luteal phase (LP) is. Of course, after miscarriage, “normal” may not be seen for a while, so we’ll just have to wait and see. My guess would be though, that the 12 day LP I had last cycle is “normal” for me. This is just based on the fact that my kids are almost always born AFTER my due date when due date is based on LMP.
