So my temperature did go up as expected and I’m sure it’ll continue upward over the course of the next few days before leveling off a bit. I won’t get the lines drawn on my chart at FF until 3 days of higher temps though, so I’m still waiting for that confirmation, but I’m quite sure I’ve now entered the Two Week Wait - the wait between trying to conceive and testing to see if the “try” was successful.
How long will I be able to wait before testing? Depends on the kinds of signs I get over the next week or so. I do have some ovulations tests still and I’ve heard you can use those to test for pregnancy too, but I’m not sure how. Plus I do have those 2 pregnancy tests…I’m going to hold off until at least 10 dpo if I can. Even that is early. Ideally, I’d hold off until 14 dpo but I think that’s unlikely.
I’ll also be on the lookout for implantation spotting because I’ve had that with my last 3 pregnancies. However, those pregnancies came quite soon after getting off birth control. I haven’t been on birth control for over 4 months now, so I don’t know if I’ll still get that same sign. We’ll just have to wait and see…that’s kinda what the 2ww is all about. Waiting…
