WooHoo - my internet access is set up! We moved out of the house we’re selling and moved in with family ’till we find another place. So, today, my internet access here with family is finally in!
We’ve been so busy with our move that I haven’t had time to post. We still have some things left to clean up and move to storage, but the majority of our move is done and I’m confident we can wrap the rest up soon. One HUGE task out of the way.
Other than that though, we still need to get a carseat and are still waiting on the sale of our house to close. I can’t wait until that happens because I’ll get to pay off a big portion of our bills/debt. I’m very much looking forward to that.
In baby news, I have an appointment with my OB tomorrow, so I will update after that. I don’t think there will be a whole lot to report. I hope there isn’t a lot to report because then that will mean that everything still looks fine/normal. I have been having Braxton Hicks contractions each day this week so far so I know my body is getting ready, but I still think it’ll be about a week from now.
Baby has also shifted position a little bit and, I think, I in a more ideal position to start labor in which is also a good sign. In the past month or so baby was head down with his/her spine along my left side (facing toward my right). Now I don’t feel baby’s back along my left side any more. I think he/she has rotated a little to face more toward my back. Not 100% facing my back, but more than before. Baby is also still quite active which I’m happy about because at least I know he/she is okay in there.
Oh, and the other night, we went to a birthday party and it took me FOREVER to figure out what to wear and I’m usually not the type that takes forever and a day, but NOTHING fit me! I tried all kinds of different combinations to see what would work and what would fit comfortably and it turned out that I really didn’t have much of a choice. I couldn’t believe how much of my maternity clothes simply do NOT fit anymore. Thankfully, there’s not too much time left and I shouldn’t have to go anywhere else the least bit fancy before baby is here.
