Officially TTC Next Cycle

Well, it’s official.  I’ve decided that we will be TTC next cycle.  I’m quite sure I just ovulated (love the charting thing but still getting the hang of it), and am exciting to be moving toward the end of this cycle.

Our family is planning a trip in September to Disney World.  From the looks of it, conceiving next cycle (knock on wood) would give us a due date in the first week of November.  Therefore, I will still be way clear to fly in September.  The airlines we’ll be using allows expecting mothers to fly up to 36 weeks, no questions asked.  If next cycle is successful, I’ll probably only be about 32-33 weeks when we go on the trip.

Of course, there is also the chance that it will take some time to conceive.  After a loss, the one thing I know is that you can’t always plan everything.  It’s simply not 100% in my control.  I would so love a BFP in February.  Plus, according to the Chinese Gender Predictor Charts, that would make a boy.  LOL - I really don’t have a preference either way, just let this pregnancy be sticky!  Another son would be cool, considering I currently have 3 daughters and only 1 son.  However, a daughter would be just as precious and I don’t even think I’m going to find out early anyway.  Another thing - it’s not as if those Chinese Gender Predictor Charts have worked consistently for me in the past.

If you told me before that I would just wait until birth to find out the gender of my baby, I would have told you you were crazy.  No way.  I’m too curious.  I have to find out.  I have to know.  I can’t possibly wait that long.  But now, all I want is a happy baby.  Boy or girl is totally fine and I’m actually looking forward to just enjoying the process of having a life growing inside of me and finding out more about baby when it’s time for baby to come into this world.  I so hope things go well and I can experience this some time this year!

I guess we’ll just have to wait and see what happens.
