So I went to the dr today and we were able to see more than we did last time. This time, there was a distinct black circle right in the center of the picture (these print outs are always not as sharp as the image was on the screen). We still can’t see the yolk sac so dr wants me to come back again next week. He said it’s possible that I didn’t get pg until later than expected with an LMP of 8/30/06 - maybe I’m not quite as far along as we think. We’ll see as we do more ultrasounds and can finally do one where we can get measurements.
We also did blookwork today though I don’t expect to hear about results unless something is out of the ordinary.
So, before dr walks out of the room he says, “Oh, what is that over there?” (See arrow in picture)
He points to the black circle where the arrow is pointing then says, “Looks like twins maybe.” eeeekkk!
*sigh* - now, not only am I waiting to see the yolk sac and confirm that everything is going as it should be for this pregnancy, but now there may possibly, maybe - two babies? I can’t wait until I have firm answers, like:
things seem to be developing as they should
my due date - LMP accurate to predict due date or not
number of babies
What the heck are we going to do if there are two in there? I think the only vehicle that really seated 8 in recent years has been the Astro Van and they aren’t making that any more. But let’s not get ahead of ourselves, that other black circle could be nothing.
