Move of the Exercise Bike

So last time I was pregnant I said that, if I had my own exercise bike, I probably would have exercised more. Well, now I have my own exercise bike. It hasn’t been used much. But I really need to start exercising more regularly!

To date, my bike has been in the garage. I haven’t really wanted to go out there because 1. it’s hot and 2. it’s a mess out there. We don’t have anything in our attic because we don’t have a ladder to get up there, so our garage has lots of “storage” stuff in there: softball equipment, Halloween stuff, Christmas stuff, thing to wash the car with, all my husband’s RC car stuff, a weight set, chairs, tables, the kids bikes, scooters, hula hoops, my old glider that lost the back cushion during our move 2 years ago, a file cabinet, etc, etc, etc. Soooo, being out there is frustrating because I don’t care for the clutter, but I really don’t feel like tackling it all myself. So I avoid going out there for the most part which means no getting on the bike. Plus, my bike was in the middle of “stuff” and I don’t think I could have used it if I wanted.

Therefore, in an attempt to make it “easier” for me to use the bike, I moved it into our living room. Now I don’t have to go outside. It’s cooler in the house AND I can watch TV while I ride. We’ll see if having the bike in the house helps. So far, it’s been in the house for 2 days and I haven’t used it yet. *blush* Hopefully I can change that!
