Maybe It’s a Sign?

I have to say, that I don’t really “feel” pregnant.  With my son, I had sore boobs within days of conception.  Not so this time around.  Slight tenderness, but nothing convincing.  However, I do have this urge to eat healthy food which is unusual considering my favorite food is ice cream.  I experienced this with my last pregnancy as well which kind of scares me a little.  But anyway, salad sounds good.  I look at food menus and everything looks great, not just the desserts.  LOL.  And last night, I ate ice cream and it kind of upset my stomach which is something that happened during my last pg too.  I guess I should tell you that I ate ice cream almost every day leading up to ovulation, so that’s why I find it strange that it would upset my stomach.

Other than this “food sign” though, I don’t really feel much different.  I have been able to fall asleep at the drop of a hat the last 4 nights, but that can happen when I’m not pregnant too, so I can’t really count that.

Today I am 8 days past ovulation (dpo) at I may test “for fun” on Thursday.  10 dpo seems to be the *magic* number at which some women get + tests.  I’ve heard of some as early as 9dpo, but that’s quite unusual.  Even 10 dpo might be too early, but I still *might* try it and then test “for real” on Sunday.  We’ll see how “strong” I’m feeling on Thursday.  You never know, I may just be able to wait until Sunday.  Then again, there are about 4 women I know from TTC message boards who are at 8 dpo with me and are leaning toward testing “for fun” on Thursday.  Like I said, we’ll see how “strong” I feel when Thursday rolls around.  If my temps stay up above what they are today, I may go ahead and test.  Today’s temp is one of the highest I’ve ever had.  Only once have I had a temp this high, but the next day it dropped and af showed the following day.  So if they stay up that should be a good sign.
