Wow - I remember not very long ago I was excited about getting below the 100 day mark. Now I see that have less than 90 days to go. Less than 3 months left! I’m getting so excited. I can’t wait. There’s so much going on between now and then though.
This weekend we have a home inspector coming by our house as part of the process to sell. We’re still in escrow and hope to stay that way until we close the sale (hopefully at the end of September). We plan to move just about everything out of the house over Labor Day weekend so that we don’t have to worry about doing it after our trip should we actually be able to close at the end of Sept.
After Labor Day, I have my next dr appt on Sept. 4th just before we go on our trip and I’ll already be 31 weeks by then!
Then we fly out on the 6th on our big trip that we’ve basically been looking forward to for the past 3 years. We’re off to DisneyWorld for a week then we’ll take a quick trip to see DH’s cousin play a football game in NJ. He’s senior this year and we’ve always wanted to catch one of this games. By the time we get back half the month will be gone and hopefully, we’ll be that much closer to closing the sale on our house. Once that is done, we’ll be able to pay off just about ALL our debt which I’m really looking forward to.
So that would take us into the beginning of October and I’d have just about one month left!
Then there’s the matter of looking for another place. There is one that we heard of and we’re sort of hoping it works out (we haven’t even seen it yet), but it would minimize the time we have to live with family and we’d hopefully be able to move in late this year or early next year.
There’s so much going on that I KNOW the next 3 months will go by quickly. I’m looking forward to our trip, but will feel much more “relaxed” once we get the move out of the way because I know that will take quite a bit of work.
