Our Unexpected Blessing…

Yes! I’m finally ovulating! Yesterday I had a nice temperature dip…the one I’ve been waiting for. I also got a positive result on a Clearblue Easy Ovulation Test late afternoon/early evening yesterday! I’ve never used ovulation predictors until this month. I have to admit, they’re pretty cool. At first I was reluctant to spend the money on them. After all, I’ve gotten pregnant before without them. But I finally gave in this time and bought them because I was having trouble reading my own chart and fertility signs. The ovulation test along with the other observations I’ve made makes me quite certain that I’m ovulating.

So, I should start to see my temperature pick up tomorrow. Then I’ll be in the two week wait. I’m sure the time is just going to drag by while I wait to find out if we conceived or not. If I make it to 14 days past ovulation with no temperature drop that’ll be a good sign. I don’t know if I’m strong enough to hold out that long to test though. I do have 2 pregnancy tests up in my bathroom. Both are First Response Pregnancy Tests which means that I “could” find out up to “5 days earlier.” So we’ll see how “strong” I am and see how long I can wait.

Anyway - wish me luck as I TTC and venture into the 2ww (two week wait)!
