Well, I didn’t get to do my tattoo in 2006, but I did get to do it on Jan. 1st, 2007. In fact I was the first tattoo of ‘07 for the shop and the artist where I got the tattoo done, so that’s kind of cool. I’m so happy with the way it turned out (see picture below)!
I also got to enjoy a Kahlua and Milk yesterday. I meant to have some wine during the New Years celebrations on the 31st, but last week got so busy that I forgot to go out and get a bottle. Plus, I’m not a drinker, so I have no clue which wine I would like or what any of them really taste like. I was a little disappointed because I wanted to do something a little different for this New Year (and have a drink), but yesterday when we visited my husband’s grandparents, his grandfather offered me a drink. There were a number of choices, but I just took a Kahlua and milk. I got to make it myself, so not too strong. I was actually able to finish the whole thing. Normally, if I have a drink, I don’t even finish it. Even Kahlua and milk - if it’s made my someone else, it usually has too much of an alcohol taste for me to finish.
Anyway - I’m just glad the New Year is here and hope it’s filled with great things for everyone! Okay - here’s the picture of the tattoo. It’s on my leg in the calf area:
