So, my husband and I decided we’ll “go for blue” this first cycle of TTC. Maybe the next one too if this we don’t conceive this cycle. How does “going for blue” differ from just TTC? Well, when trying to have a boy, you refrain from baby making until the day of ovulation and then it’s a ONE shot deal to try to catch that egg with a boy sperm (which supposedly swim faster than girl sperm).
Of course, with the one shot deal, you may not conceive, so we’ll see how it goes. From what I can tell, I may have ovulated yesterday. We’d been holding off since Monday morning, so we’ll see what happens. My temp today wasn’t very conclusive on whether or not yesterday was really O day. The next few days should be able to confirm one way or the other. If and when we do conceive, though, we don’t plan on finding out baby’s gender until birth. Should be fun, I just hope it’s sooner rather than later.
